The subject of this dissertation is the assessment and optimization of water distribution in the group water supply. The water supply networks are located in the Water Association of Babicko, former district of Uherské Hradiště, region of Zlín. The objective of this work is the unification of the entire documentation for all projects, creation of a hydraulic model of water supply network and subsequent verification of the existing capacities and pressure ratios. This work is particularly focused on the evaluation of pressure ratios at the highest and the lowest points of villages, whether they correspond to the legal limits, and subsequent design of a possible division to pressure zones.

After successfully avoiding of the destructive scenario with the demolition of reservoirs and replacing them with parking house, the second question arises. The Analysis of Water Distribution Network of Vysoká nad Labem Municipality
Bakrlík, Marek ; Netušil, Lukáš (referee) ; Kučera, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of my bachelor’s thesis is to assess the current supply system of drinking water in the village Vysoká nad Labem. The growth of the village has been the cause of the increasing consumption of drinking water. Due to the increase in water withdrawals the pressure conditions in the supply network has been also changed and has been struggling with the legal limits. Particularly the paper will focus on an evaluation of the pressure ratios at the highest point of the village followed by the design of a possible division to the pressure zones due to the potential supply by several sources.

Reservoirs - Brno, Zluty kopec (Yellow hill)
Rozsypal, Petr ; Poláš, Michal (referee) ; Palaščák, Michal (advisor)
The area of water reservoirs on Žlutý kopec is a unique site of a technical herritage, which has the potential to be attractive to the general public. Its uniqueness lies not only in the interiors of individual reservoirs, but also in the large flat areas of greenery, under which the reservoirs are hidden. Due to the size and location of the area within the city, it would be irresponsible to sacrifice it only for tourism and keep it closed to the public most of the time. Since I am of the opinion that the city of Brno has more than enough underground structures sacrificed to tourism, the aim of my work is to find a way to meaningfully integrate this area into the structure of the city, so that it becomes as much a daily part of it as possible.

Reservoirs - Brno, Zluty kopec (Yellow hill)
Lamačková, Zuzana ; Chodelková, Klaudia (referee) ; Palaščák, Michal (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is a design of a spatial and functional concept of the site of non-functional historical reservoirs in Brno on Yellow hill. The aim of the work is to create an idea of the use of the site and its underground reservoirs and to find a strategy for involving the site in the functioning of the city. The source of water was an elementary condition in the expansion and growth of city, and now few people realize how large network of underground structurs ensures its circulation and how important was their role in the past. The main idea of the work is to focus not only on one accessible reservoir in the area on Yellow Hill, but on a wider water world of Brno.
Technical Audit of Water Tanks
Šlesinger, Jan ; Svoboda,, Miroslav (referee) ; Tuhovčák, Ladislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis aims to design a methodology for technical audit of water tanks. The first part presents basic information on water tanks, followed by a brief summary of Czech legislation related to developing water tank renewal financing plans. The key part of the thesis is designing the structure of TEAA water tanks module, which will be included in TEA Water methodology, being developed at Institute of Municipal Water Management. The module under proposal is implemented as a MS Excel application, which is used to assess selected water tanks. The assessment results are compared to results obtained using TEA Water web application, which implements a draft of the TEAA module from October 2014, and to the results obtained using TAWAT.xls application.
